WHY SHOULD YOU BE CONCERNED ABOUT STORM WATER POLLUTION?

Because everything that flows down our streets and through our storm drain system will also flow through your neighborhood parks, canyons, creeks, lakes, rivers, walking trails, and other recreational areas.  And it all drains to San Diego Bay. This means that when you allow pollutants like trash, chemicals, pet waste, and irrigation runoff to flow into the storm drain, you’re hurting our delicate aquatic ecosystem for fish, birds, plants, and people.
